At last I managed to make a hat for myself! I have passed by so many in the store - leather hats - and each time I say "Oh, I can do that!", but of course, I never do! So when a friend sent me a set of patterns, I found a very nice Brazilian tanned, pre-dyed leather (5oz) and went to work on this hat.

Where can I get a pattern for the hat or similar to what you have posted pictures of on Sep 13 2007. I would like to make one for my son.

The pattern is an old Tandy one and there are two Tandy stores that currently have these: The Nashville, Tennessee branch and the Minneapolis, Minnesota branch. - JOhan
